The eCYBERMISSION Mini-Grant program offers financial support to help teachers and their students succeed while participating in eCYBERMISSION. The program is open to teachers and program leaders who implement eCYBERMISSION in their classrooms and schools. Grantees are selected on a rolling basis based on the application and specific selection criteria. The deadline to apply is November 11, 2026. Committing to participate in eCYBERMISSION as a Team Advisor or knowing the exact number of students participating is not necessary to apply.

How the Mini-Grant Works

The grant is awarded in two payments with the potential for Kickstarter funds:

  • Mini-Grant Kickstarter Funds: Team Advisors who are awarded a Mini-Grant and register as a Team Advisor with at least one complete team of students registered prior to September 20, 2026, may be eligible to receive an additional $250 in funding to jumpstart their students’ participation for project supplies. These funds are paid to the Team Advisor.
  • First Payment Funds: Project supply funds issued to the school, Team Advisor with principal approval, or purchased by eCYBERMISSION from an Amazon wish list developed by the Team Advisor. The funding amount is based on the number of students on a complete team by the registration deadline, February 24, 2027. Payments will be issued 3–4 weeks after you submit notice that all your students are on a team, and you have submitted an ACH and W9 form.
  • Second Payment Funds: Stipend paid directly to the Team Advisor based on the number of students on teams who submit a Mission Folder by the submission date of March 3, 2027. To be eligible for this payment, you must:
    • Complete an Interim Report
    • Submit student Mission Folders
    • Complete a Mini-Grant Survey

View the Mini-Grant Funding Breakdown for more details.

Please Note: Submission of school/district W-9 and ACH information AND Team Advisor W-9 and ACH information is required if accepted into the Mini-Grant program to process all payments. If a Team Advisor selects the Amazon list option for supply purchase; the school/district W-9 and ACH information are not necessary.
