CyberGuides are resource guides for Students and Team Advisors. They are STEM professionals, college/university/vocational/technical school students, military personnel or individuals with a background in STEM who are interested in supporting students during the eCYBERMISSION competition.
CyberGuides answer student questions, provide support, and engage with teams virtually. They inspire Students to challenge themselves and explore STEM by sharing their expertise with Students during the months leading up to Mission Folder submission through CyberGuide Live Chats. CyberGuides are a resource for teams through the completion of their Mission Folders by encouraging teams to ask questions, delve deeper into their research, pursue challenging concepts, employ problem-solving skills, and to maintain integrity throughout the competition.
This is a virtual and flexible opportunity during the day and/or evening between September and April of the competition cycle. A satisfactory background check, conducted by eCYBERMISSION, is required as CyberGuides interact directly with students during their resource guide activities. CyberGuides may additionally volunteer as Ambassadors OR Virtual Judges.
Accept the challenge of supporting students and join the mission to serve as a CyberGuide on the eCYBERMISSION Volunteer Team.
