Ambassadors are advocates of STEM Education. Volunteers are engaged in their communities and eager to support STEM Education through outreach and networking. Ambassadors are teachers, college professors, STEM professionals, involved in military service, community members, or parents of past eCYBERMISSION Students.
Ambassadors prioritize year-round networking to raise awareness for and increase local participation with eCYBERMISSION. Depending on their networks, Ambassadors focus on engaging and networking in-person and virtually with schools, organizations, and individuals in their communities to recruit volunteers, Team Advisors, students, teachers, schools, or organizations. A satisfactory background check, conducted by eCYBERMISSION, is required as Ambassadors interact with students during their recruitment efforts. Ambassadors may also volunteer as CyberGuides or form their own team(s) as a Team Advisor. However, Ambassadors also interested in serving as Virtual Judges should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Accept the challenge of engaging your community and join the mission to serve as an Ambassador on the eCYBERMISSION Volunteer Team.
